Which platform does D20PRO run on?

Java doesn't allow me to increase my memory allocation to D20PRO

This usually happens when another program that uses Java puts system variables so whenever any program opens Java the default memory allocation is set.

In Windows 7, press the Windows Key > type in System Variables & click on Environmental Variables > and scroll through the list of System Variables. The three things to look for are: “_JAVA_OPTIONS, JAVA_OPTS, and JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS. Then make sure to replace those with more appropriate variables.

What are the different licenses for D20PRO?

Here’s a summary of the different D20PRO licenses. Head to Get D20PRO for a Free Trial License. Visit the Buy D20PRO page to upgrade or add additional license.

Trial License (Free)
The 30-day Free Trial License has all the features available in the Full License except that the trial eventually expires and you must be connected to the Internet each time you start D20PRO during the trial to validate your license. Purchased licenses never expire and do not require an Internet connection.
Guest License (Free; Included)
The Guest License comes bundled with D20PRO and allows you to join a game as a Player. The only restriction to this free license is that the Judge running the game must have at least one open guest seat available at the time you connect.
Player License ($10 per license)
The Player License is similar to the Guest License in that you may only join a game with it. The difference is that you will always be allowed to join a game without requiring the Judge to have an open guest seat. A Player License costs $10 and may be upgraded at any time to a Full License.
GM License ($50 with 2 guest seats included; $10/additional guest seat)
The full GM License may be used to join a game as a player OR host a game as a Judge. The Full License includes 2 guest seats, allowing two players to connect for free. A Full License may be upgraded at any time with additional guest seats at a cost of $10 each. Players with their own licenses do not occupy guest seats.

My computer crashed! How do I get my license back?

Do I still have to purchase D20PRO if I won't be hosting games?

Not necessarily, but it will be up to you. There are two different options for player licenses. They are basically the same thing except one is attached to the player’s account (aka Player License) and the other is attached to a GM’s account (aka Guest Seat). In order to guarantee the GM always has room for you, the player license is the way to go.
